The Extrusion process is utilized used to create objects from either hot or cold material of a fixed cross-sectional profile.  Material is “pushed” or drawn through a die of the desired cross-section. The extrusion process has the ability to create complex cross-sections and work materials, as well as form finished parts with a superior surface finish. There are two types of Extrusion processes: continuous (producing indefinitely long material), or semi-continuous (producing many pieces of uniform or varying lengths).
