The Butch Bliss Advantage
Zero nested work roll stack
Zero nested work roll stack providing quick and easy machine calibration with a high degree of repeatability. The rolls actually touch each other at low pressure.
Advanced roll cassette design
Roll cassette design means multiple roll size cassettes can increase the gauge range of a single leveler. The roll cassette can also be used to easily remove the back-up rolls.
Individually-driven work rolls
Individually-driven work rolls via an AC motor, planetary gear reducer and spindle arrangement. With this arrangement the correct amount of torque can be applied to each roll, eliminating the need for mechanical torque limiters.
Easy back-up removal
The back-up bearing are removed using the work roll cassettes to remove both the bottom and top back flights.
Scale removal system
Butech Bliss has developed a patent-pending Scale Removal System for use in our hydraulic roller levelers. The hot-rolled scale that normally collects between back-up flights is automatically transported outside the leveler to be collected in a scrap container.
