Butech Bliss, a world class designer and manufacturer of custom machinery for the metals industry, is seeking a well-qualified Quality Assistant. This position will assist the Quality Manager with quality documentation; work with Document Control to ensure all drawings and procedures are to current revision levels. This dynamic individual should have a high technical ability. As apart of Quality Assurance functioning within the Quality Department requires an individual that is an initiative-taking self-starter with excellent computer skills, the ability to learn quickly and the ability to multi-task. Responsibilities include maintaining print sets for the engineering and assembly departments, scanning, and filing drawings/documents, assisting with daily tasks, building and maintaining quality procedures and reports, record keeping and filing skills.
Successful candidates should have a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, a high degree level of professionalism, exceptional attention to detail, ability to work with all levels of employees in a friendly and professional manner and have the ability to be creative and flexible in order to meet deadlines while working with changing priorities. Individuals should be comfortable with various forms of technology.
This position requires a minimum of a high school education and 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Exposure to ISO or other CQI initiatives and root cause analysis training are preferred.
