Butech Bliss, a world class designer and manufacturer of custom machinery for the metals industry, is seeking a well-qualified, dynamic individual to lead our Quality Program.  This individual will have a strong understanding of ISO 9001-2015 when applied to a Job Shop environment and will develop, implement and manage all quality control systems within the company.  This position will supervise a team of quality technicians and inspectors.  We are looking for a self-directed, energetic individual to seize this challenging opportunity and take our quality efforts to the next level.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as manufacturing or engineering.
• Minimum 1-2 years training/experience with a formal quality program, ISO-9001 preferred.
• Must have experience with fabricating, machining, and assembly in the machine-building industry.
• Strong knowledge/understanding of Nondestructive Testing (NDT).
• Solid understanding of tolerance and surface finish requirements for machined metal parts, and how this impacts assembly and machine function.
• Experience in a shop supervision/management position.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Expectations:

• Analyze and reduce scrap/rework using a computerized non-conformance system by applying standard Root Cause Analysis methodology leading to the implementation of sound preventive actions.
• Engage with other department heads to impact quality concerns/situations.
• Develop policies and procedures that ensure product quality throughout all departments.
• Interface with customers to resolve quality issues and facilitate customer audits.
• Develop and maintain key metrics to monitor quality performance and measure improvement.
• Maintain current gage calibration program and identify opportunities to improve inspection capabilities.
• Manage a supplier quality program.
