Butech Bliss, a leading designer and builder of metal processing equipment has a current need for full-time Proposal/Applications Engineers for its Rolling Mill and Coil Processing sales groups. Primary responsibilities include the development of technical and commercial proposals for capital equipment projects, equipment rebuilds and engineering studies.
In addition, he/she will assume the lead role in developing the technical and commercial responses required for each inquiry assigned by the Product Manager. The individuals will have responsibility for presenting the proposed solutions to the customer and providing the necessary follow up to successfully obtain customer contracts.
Positions involve travel of approximately 10 to 20 percent. Travel is mostly domestic.
It is preferred that candidates have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering. Candidates must possess solid computer skills, strong mechanical aptitude, have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to read and create engineered drawings.
